Will non-OEM ink cartridges void your warranty?
Remanufactured Ink Cartridges from PostageInk.comThe short answer is: no.

Manufacturers are not allowed to legally require any printer owner or lessee to exclusively purchase supplies from them. If a representative of the manufacturer threatens to void the machine warranty, or charge for a service call because you are using a compatible supply, request their statement in writing. They are not allowed to demand verbally or otherwise that you buy their supplies. This "tying agreement" is not lawful and violates provisions of the Sherman and Clayton Antitrust Acts as well as the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act.

In 1936, the Supreme Court set a precedent by ruling IBM was not allowed to terminate a customer's data processing machine lease just because the customer was using tabulating cards from other manufacturers. The more recent Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act title 15, Section 2303 specifically prohibits a manufacturer from conditioning a written or implied warranty on the use of its own brand product except under very restrictive circumstances.

If, in the unlikely event our supplies have been the source of damage to your equipment, you are protected by our warranty. We will reimburse you for repair costs provided you present adequate documentation from your service technician.

Our compatible ink cartridges are manufactured to have comparable or better performance to the original name brand cartridges. When you buy from PostageInk.com, you can rest assured knowing our products will keep your machines running smoothly, and save you money.
